What to Expect

 

Most training programs give you a certain number of exercises to do at certain times during the week, and that's it. Training is so much more than just an exercise routine!!

 

Training is changing your lifestyle, your thinking process, the way you approach and perform exercises, what and how you eat, and many other things most people don't consider.

 

The first meeting is free and all about getting to know each other. The first thing we will talk about is your goals. There is no right or wrong goal -it is what you want to accomplish for yourself.

 

-As your personal trainer I will keep you on track by motivating and encouraging you toward your goals.

   It's true that the basic motivation for health and fitness, including weight loss, must come from inside of you. You have to want it for yourself. However, even the most ardent dieters and fitness fanatics have days when they just don't want to put any effort into it. Maybe they lose sight of their goal or perhaps they momentarily lose sight of their gains. Either way, I will be there to keep you going.

 

-As your personal trainer I will teach you what you need to do to raise your heart rate enough to burn fat, improve cardiovascular fitness, and increase your metabolism.

   I cannot tell you how many people I see in the gym who are basically wasting their money on a gym membership. It is true that any movement is better than none; at least you are burning calories. If, however, you wish to see gains in fitness and real weight loss, it is important that your time be productive.

 

-As a certified and trained fitness professional I have the answers and information to support you and help you succeed in reaching your goals.

   There is so much material available related to weight-loss and personal health and fitness that it is easy to become overwhelmed on your own.
